How it works

Step 1 – Book Your Day

Fill out our contact form to start the booking process. Then, prior to the day you’ve booked, we’ll discuss what your goals and top priorities are and what you want to achieve in a day. We’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out so we’re all set to start working when your “Designer For A Day” begins. We ask that any collateral needed for projects be prepared and sent to us a week in advance.

 

Step 2 – The Day Of

The morning of your booking, we’ll have a quick chat to go over what the day will consist of. Next, we’ll start working through your design list all while keeping in touch throughout the day to get your feedback or ask questions if we have any. We’ll work on your must-haves and if there’s any remaining time, we’ll start working on your wishlist items. At the end of the day we’ll send you all the deliverables we worked on. “Designer For A Day” hours are between 9:00 – 5:00 EST.

 

Step 3 – Use Your Designs!

And just like that, in only one day, you’re ready to start using your new designs!

 

Please note, when you book a “Designer For A Day”, you’re booking us for time, not a set of deliverables.

F.A.Q.

It’s recommended to book 2-3 weeks in advance to make sure you have the time to gather the necessary content for your project (for example: inspiration, copy, brand photography, pinterest board,  etc.). Your content is required one week before your booked date.

It’s my goal to get it all done for you! That being said, I know what I can achieve in a day and will always let you know if I don’t think your projects will all get done in a day. Being available throughout your booked day is also really important to getting things done. Your quick feedback and answers to questions allow me to get more done for you.

 

Please note, you’re booking hours and not a guaranteed set of deliverables. We highly suggest taking the time to complete the preliminary work we give you so that the hours on the day of are used exclusively for design.

If by the end of your design day, you’d still like to cross off additional items on your to-do list, we can always book you in for another full or half day. (Half days only available as an add-on.)

“Designer For A Day” is $1,200 + HST. Your investment is split into two payments, a 50% non refundable deposit is made to book your date and the final 50% balance is due 24 hours before your design day.

We understand life sometimes happens. If you need to change the design day you booked, you can do so once. Please let me know at least 48 hours in advance and I will give you my next availabilities for you to pick from.
